Subject: Thin-Client Networks

To cut the cost of computers, business began to install thin-client networks
about three years ago. Since then they have shown they can save a lot of
money. Schools are now beginning to install this technology.
It's still very new to education and there are some bugs to be worked out,
but I think that in the long run it's going to make a big difference to
schools.

I have written a non-technical article about thin-client computing and it's
use in schools. If you're interested, I've posted the story to
http://pages.prodigy.net/kerryfraser/Thin-ClientNetworks.htm.
